Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre ★★★★

A taste of that rich Belgian culture in the heart of Brussels.

By Jonny Tiplady, VeryChic correspondent
Brussels is a multifaceted city in many senses of the word; it has a rich history, but modern architecture that doesn’t undermine it. A city of gastronomic and architectural landmarks, it is one of the pinnacles of western Europe. The Senne River peacefully flows through adding some blue to this already colourful city. Right in the centre of the city, a short walk from Brussels Park and Halle Gate, you’ll have the chance to discover the Belgian capital’s many gems.

Brussels National Airport serves as a base for Brussels Airlines, TUIfly Belgium and Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium, and receives flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Brussels-South Charleroi Airport from many cities across Europe.

    From Brussels-South Charleroi Airport:
    - By taxi: taxis to Brussels city centre cost around 80€ and can be cost-efficient if shared between four passengers. Taxis are located outside the airport terminal, there are three companies that have signed a quality charter with the airport; these taxis usually offer a fixed price.
