Symmetry Suites hotel was a truly memorable and captivating experience. Arrive to a warm welcome with a complimentary bottle of wine and be serenaded by the harmonious and heavenly surroundings.
Our grand suite, with a private heated outdoor hot tub was truly incredible. The apartment truly reflects traditional Greek roots, with wooden frames and pretty patterned tiles, the bathroom shower mirroring a cave like structure, so you truly feel like you’re bathing among nature. Our bedroom, with plush bedding and calming colours of cream and magnolia had astounding views of the sea and boats cruising by from its expansive open window. Our kitchen was cosy and cute, a mix of soft coloured wood and marble like walls. Breakfasts were sumptuous and fulfilling, nourishing us for all our exploring and volcanic inspired hikes.
During the day, we went beach hopping to visit White beach, Red beach with its red hills and volcanic rocks, that offers snorkelling of the crystal clear waters. There are a plethora of incredible stops and viewpoints dispersed throughout the island, such as Ancient Thera to the east coast, an ancient mountaintop of ruins with spectacular ocean views. Akrotiri Lighthouse, close to the hotel is ideal for a romantic picnic. At night we watched the sun sink below the horizon with shades of gold and fiery red and orange, from our sumptuously soft terrace cushions, holding a chilled glass of white wine.

The airport is fairly well served with seasonal flights from many European cities, including the UK, as well as year-round flights from Athens.
