Abano Ritz Hotel Terme ★★★★★
Via Monteortone, 19
35031
Abano Terme
Italy
The Abano Terme Ritz ***** is located inthe small village of Abano Terme, a province of Padua in Veneto. The hotel is nestled on the eastern slope of the majestic Colli Euganei (Euganean Hills).
Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), is located on the Italian mainland about 8 km / 5 mi north of Venice. Many airlines operate flights to this airport (although it serves as a base for Volotea and EasyJet). It receives international flights from most capital cities, and many other large cities, from across Europe.
- Terme Euganee Express: a low-cost bus to and from the airport which can be booked by contacting the hotel’s reception.
- By public transport: The total journey takes around 2 hours and 15 minutes and costs around £35. From Venice Aiport, take a bus with ATVO Italia to Venezia Mestre. From there, take a Trenitalia Eurostar to Padua train station.
- By car: The total drive takes around 50 minutes. From the airport, follow signs to the A57 toward Milano/Bologna. Stay on the A57 for around 20 minutes and merge onto A4/E70 for another 20 minutes. Take exit Padova Ovest toward Padova Ovest and keep left at the fork following signs for Padova/Vicenza/Selvazzano Dentro and merge onto SS47. Stay on SR45 and follow signs to Padova, then take the exit toward, then onto Via Sartorio. At the roundabout continue onto Via San Lorenzo, turn left onto Via Cesare battisti/SS250 and stay on that road until you see the “Abano Ritz” signage on top of the hotel building right next to a roundabout.
Padua railway station is 11 km from the hotel. From there, the best option would be to take a 10 minute taxi ride to the hotel which should cost between £25 and £30 depending on traffic.
