The Aigle Noir Hotel **** is located in the commune of Fontainebleau, about 55.5 km / 34.5 mi to the south of Paris. The commune, surrounded by large scenic forest, is home to the historical home of kings, the Chateau de Fontainebleau.

From Paris Orly airport:
Leaving the airport, follow signs for the A6 motorway. Take the A6 motorway in the direction of Lyon. Exit for the N37 for Fontainebleau. Continue straight on into the centre of Fontainebleau, the hotel is located in the heart, near the chateau.
From Paris Charles de Gaulle airport:
Leaving the airport, follow signs for the A104 motorway. Take the A104 toward Marne-la-Vallee. Then follow the direction of Lyon an then Melun. Once in Melun follow the direction of Fontainebleau. Once in the town centre, you will easily find the hotel, as it is located by the Chateau.

Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est. From either station take the metro, RER or a taxi to Paris Gare de Lyon. From there it is possible to take a train to Fontainebleau Avon station. Trains depart every 30 minutes or so and take around 40 minutes.
Arriving to Paris from the UK, Eurostar operate trains from London St. Pancras International. From Germany direct trains to Paris can be found direct from several major cities including Frankfurt, Cologne and Dusseldorf, and high-speed trains with Thalys from Dusseldorf and Cologne. Thalys also operate fast trains from Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The French TGV operate fast trains from other cities in Europe and from across France.
