Barcelona is served mainly by Barcelona-El Prat Airport, found just outside the city, around 15km from the city centre.

Low-cost airlines, mainly Ryanair, also fly to Girona–Costa Brava Airport, 12km south of Girona and around 100km north of Barcelona. However, it takes longer and is less convenient to get to Barcelona from Girona Airport.
Getting to the hotel from Barcelona-El Prat airport:
- By taxi: Taxis are located outside all the main terminal exits and usually take 20-30 minutes to get to the city centre. It costs around €25 from T2 and €30 from T1 (with surcharges for luggage). Be sure to take an official, black and yellow Barcelona taxi.
- By train: A cheap and fast way of getting to and from the airport. Trains run every 30 minutes or so to Barcelona from T2, taking around 25 minutes. A single from the airport costs around €4. A far more cost-efficient ticket, especially if you plan on using public transport during your stay, is the T10 for €10.40. It is valid for 10 journeys with no expiry date, on buses, trams and trains (and includes the airport zone), it can also be shared by more than one person at a time.
Get off at Passeig de Gracia; which is less than 10 minutes’ walk to the hotel.
- By bus: The Aerobus run express buses between the airport and city centre. Tickets are €5.90 for a single and €10.20 return. Get off at the end, Plaça de Catalunya. The hotel is situated on the other side of the square.
Getting to the hotel from Girona–Costa Brava airport:
- By bus: The most convenient route is the Barcelona Bus (which coincides with Ryanair flight arrivals), run by Sagalés. They operate buses that coincide with Ryanair flight times, to Barcelona’s city centre. A return ticket costs €25 and can be purchased from the Sagalés booth at the airport.
The bus terminates at Barcelona Nord bus station; from here turn left when leaving the station and take the metro L1 (red) at Arc de Triomf for two stops to Plaça Catalunya. The hotel is right next to La Rambla exit.
- By train: First take a bus (part of the Sagalés service) to Girona city centre, buses leave at 30 minutes past each hour and take 25 minutes. From there you can take a train to Plaça de Catalunya.
The closest metro stop is Plaça de Catalunya, served by lines 1 (red), 3 (green) and accessible from lines 2 (purple) and 7 (black).
