Riva Lofts Florence

Peaceful and stylish suites on the edge of Italy’s most charming city

By Edward Fairbairn, VeryChic correspondent
Known for its culture, romance and status as the cradle of the Renaissance, Florence is a tightly packed sprawl of artistic masterpieces, historic bridges, soaring church towers and pretty piazzas. The small city centre is crammed full of more museums, galleries and architectural wonders than you could ever hope to see, an intense cauldron of activity where history hangs thick in the air. Turn your back on the city centre and take a leisurely bike ride along the Arno River, however, and you will arrive at a truly serene and refreshing oasis – the Riva Lofts! Blending historical charm with modern design and an unfailingly friendly welcome, these beautiful suites offer a brilliant alternative way to experience the spellbinding Tuscan capital.
