With a similarly picturesque skyline to Prague, and equal parts Parisian romance, Berlin nightlife and London culture; Budapest is an often-overlooked ideal destination for either indulgent relaxation or a riotous good time. Spread across the banks of the Danube, the Hungarian capital is composed of two unique cities. Buda, on the west bank, is stylish and sophisticated, with Buda Castle, the Citadella and Sándor Palace; Pest also features some of the city’s most recognisable attractions but is famous too for its hedonistic nightlife. The Soho Boutique Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Pest, close to excellent shopping, varied dining options and within walking distance from Budapest’s Inner City.

Chic idea: to make the most of your time in Budapest, book your tickets in advance for a wide range of activities, here.
