An unforgettable trip to the Eternal City

By Melanie Webb, VeryChic correspondent
The ancient Romans knew how to banquet; they had that down to a fine art. But, Rome was and is so much more than just feasting on Italian delights – though that has to be done, and a fair bit! Rome is also about feasting on fantastic art, feasting your eyes on phenomenal cultural sights and breathing in a wonderful enriching atmosphere. Rome wasn’t built in a day and certainly you cannot see all of what it has to offer in just a day, so take your time winding along the streets stumbling across chic boutiques, the Spanish steps, glorious fountains and Roman ruins. For all of this... and more, you’ll need a central base, and there’s one perfectly placed hotel in the midst of it all... Palazzo Navona.
