Crème de la crème of Parisian sophistication

Exceptional
9.1 /10
By Melanie Webb, VeryChic correspondent
Hidden in the refined and sophisticated 8th arrondissement, amongst the glossy, shiny streets of St. Faubourg Honoré and the Champs-Elysées is this new jewel of a hotel: Le Marianne. It is close to all of Paris’ romantic and beautiful architectural masterpieces, the boutiques of infamous Parisian style, and many Michelin-starred French restaurants. The perfect location to explore all that is haute culture. This modern, well-situated hotel provides the perfect chic, Parisian stay. Le Marianne proudly flies the flag of French culture, with its own motto: modernity, personality and practicality.

  • One of my favourite little restaurants in Paris: Café Constant. It´s a typical Parisian restaurant with small tables and lots of chatty customers. There is a relaxed, no need to make reservations atmosphere. The best option is their set menu that changes every day. For something a little more chic try Maison Constant just a couple of doors down on Rue St. Domnique. www.maisonconstant.com/cafe-constant/ - 139 Rue St.Dominique, 75007
  • Eating under the retractable roof of Lassere, here the staff adhere to a smart black tie dress code with slick suits and bow ties. An impeccable dining experience! 17 ave. Franklin D Roosevelt 75008
  • Musée Rodin, one of the lesser known museums but not to be missed! The gardens that surround it are a peaceful haven and hold some of Rodin’s beautiful sculptures. Buy tickets beforehand to avoid queues. 79 Rue de Varenne, 75007
  • The amazing chocolate creations of Patrick Rodgers, his most recent were emperor penguin chocolate sculptures! www.patrickroger.com/site/en/ - 3 place de la Madeleine, 75008
