Found in what can only be described as a privileged location, the Hotel Cézanne is just a stone’s throw away from the vibrant Rue d’Antibes, the famous Film Festival venue and the renowned Boulevard de la Croisette. Despite being in the centre of captivating Cannes, the four-star resort is in fact a tranquil oasis, thanks to its exotic gardens, spa and wooden decking terrace.
As we walked the manicured path up to the hotel we knew we’d got the right place; the melodic chorus of nesting birds filled our ears as the fresh fragrance of the verdant garden carried on the Mediterranean breeze. The garden’s modern, bronze sculpture perfectly juxtaposes man-made art with nature’s gifts, whilst the hotel stands proudly in all its grandeur.
Our Superior Room was spacious and chic, bursting with splashes of colour, and adorning sophisticated, silver hanging lights. Modern patterns contrasted natural materials, whilst the ensuite was sparkling clean, with glistening tiles and luxury amenities.
Venturing out of the stunning retreat, it was a short stroll to the famous Croisette de Cannes and pristine coastline; where the hotel’s beachfront restaurant C Beach awaited, boasting a private beach area and the finest haute-cuisine.
After a day of relaxing at the C Beach, browsing Cannes’ luxury shops or unwinding in the hotel’s spa, the bar is your answer for a refreshing drink. “Shaken, not stirred.” Flaunting a chic ambience, it is sophisticatedly decorated, with a smooth marble bar and vibrant splashes of primary colours. Here you can enjoy the finest cocktails, wines, champagnes and aperitifs, accompanied by delicious tapas.
