Andaz Liverpool Street London ★★★★★

Contemporary candescence in cosmopolitan London.

By Melanie Webb, VeryChic correspondent
Like any city, London is always fluctuating and changing. Its East End, which was once looked down on, is now the up and coming area, especially after the 2012 Olympic Games. Recently the East End and Docklands underwent a total transformation without losing its multicultural and cosmopolitan charm. This is the classic St. Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge alongside the majestic Thames, mixed with African beats, Caribbean flavours, the smell of Indian curries and China trinkets. Once upon a time the English travelled the world to settle in new places, and now the world travels to the heart of England to visit or to make London their new home.
