Rollan de By

Elegant 18th-century hotel in the rolling vineyards of the Medoc region.

By Joanne Leitch, VeryChic correspondent
There are over 1000 wine châteaux in Medoc region of France; the ancient terroir and microclimate support supreme grape varieties like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. In turn, Domaine Rollan de By’s vineyard of nearly 200 hectares produces quality wines including four Crus. Whether you are a wine buff or not there can be few better ways to spend an evening than watching the sun set over verdant vineyards whilst cradling a full-bodied Merlot on the terrace of the Hôtel Rollan de By.
