BY PLANE

  • Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR) sits about 10 km / 6 mi northwest of Florence city centre.

    The airport receives a international flights from a number of capitals and large cities across Europe, and most notably serves as a focus for Vueling Airlines.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By hotel transfer: Transfers can be arranged with the hotel in advance to/from Florence Airport at a rate of 80€ (around £58) for up to 4 people.

    - By taxi: The centre can be reached in about 15-20 minutes by taxi and is around 20€ (around £15), although there are extra charges at night, on Sundays and public holidays, and for luggage.

    - By bus: The SITA/ATAF "Vola in Bus" shuttle bus operates between the airport and the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella. The journey time is around 20 minutes and is 6 euros one-way or 10 euros round trip.
    From here you may take a taxi the remaining distance, however it is only around 10 minutes on foot. Leaving the station, walk to the left, cross over Piazza della Stazione and walk up Largo Fratelli Alinari and straight onto Via Nazionale. Take the 5th right onto Via Ventisete.
