  • It would be almost unthinkable to come here and not visit the nearby chateaux that embellish the local landscape. Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceau, Blois, Beauregard… the list of fairy-tale French castles that can be easily reached from the hotel goes on.
  • Each year a different theme is chosen for the gardens of the Chateau de Villandry. Artists and landscape designers come from afar to participate in the Chaumont Garden Festival, adding their own touch of modern design to the already fabulous 17th century grounds.
  • For the sweet of tooth, a visit to the Max Vauché Chocolate Factory is de rigeur. I challenge you to take a tour without giving in to the chocolaty delights! Located in Bracieux (between Chambord and Cheverny).
