The Boutique Hotel Cézanne **** - Aix-en-Provence is located in the centre of Aix-en-Provence, minutes away from the historic centre where ‘La Rotonde’ and the famous ‘Cours Mirabeau’ are.
Marseille-Provence Airport is the closest well served international airport, located 25.8 km / 15.5 mi (around 25 minutes' drive) south west of the hotel.
It is fairly well-served with both seasonal and regular year-round flights from a number of major cities across Europe, including the UK, along with elsewhere in France.
- By taxi: taxis can be found outside the terminal buildings, the fare to get to Aix is around 50€-60€ or 60€-70€ at night.
- By bus: there is a convenient, direct bus that runs between the airport and main bus station in Aix. It takes around 30 minutes and costs around 8.20€ (about £6) one way. Once at the bus stop (Gare Routiere) of Aix, it is a short walk to the hotel. Head east on Avenue de l'Europe towards the Square Anouar El Sadate. At Square, take the 2nd exit onto Avenue des Belges. Then turn right onto Impasse Gustave Desplaces. Take the stairs and turn right onto Rue Gustave Desplaces. Turn left onto Avenue Victor Hugo and you will find the hotel on your left.
- By car: most major car rental companies can be found at the airport, however, it is not essential to have a car as in Aix-en-Provence it is easy to get around by foot and the bus network in the town and surrounding area is fairly good.
