The Résidence Bleu Mer is located in the Department of Pyrénées Orientales, only 20 kilometres from Perpignan and 50 minutes from the Spanish border.

BY PLANE

  • The town of Saint-Cyprien is only 26 kilometres from the Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport, just 30 minutes by car. However, there are limited flights to this airport and they vary seasonally.

    -    Flying from the UK: Aer Lingus has summer seasonal flights from Dublin (resumes 16th May 2015), Flybe has summer seasonal flights from Southampton (resumes 9th May 2015) and Ryanair has flights from London-Stansted & Birmingham (resumes 6 June 2015)

    -    Flying from Belgium: Ryanair has flights from Brussels - Charleroi

    -    Flying from Spain: Iberia operated by Air Nostrum has summer seasonal from Madrid (begins 29th April 2015)

    -    Flying from France: Air France has regular flight from Paris-Orly. Summer seasonal flights operated by HOP! fly from Lille (resumes 4th July 2015), and Volotea has summer flights from Nantes (resumes 10th April 2015).

    However, for more frequent and international flights, Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and Barcelona-El Prat Airport are more convenient.

    Flying to Toulouse-Blagnac Airport:
    - From the UK: Direct flights from London are operated by British Airways and low-cost airline EasyJet. Easyjet also fly direct from Bristol. During summer months, other low-cost airlines fly from other cities, such as Jet2 from Manchester and Edinburgh or Flybe from Birmingham.

    - From Ireland: Flying from Dublin, you can find direct flights offered by Air Lingus in all but the winter months.

    - From Germany: Lufthansa fly direct from Munich and Frankfurt while Air France and Germanwings fly from Hamburg. During the summer, Air France also fly direct from Berlin.

    - From the Netherlands: Air France fly direct from Amsterdam all year round, but costs are high and flights are not regular; during the summer, Vueling offer indirect flights for generally lower prices.

    - From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: Unfortunately there are no direct flights from any of these countries, nor any immediately obvious indirect routes. Toulouse can be reached by booking with a combination of low-cost airlines, with a stop-over for example in Paris.

    - From France: Air France and Easyjet provide direct flights from Paris; and between Air France, Easyjet and Hop!, flights are available from cities like Lille, Lyon, Nice, Marseille and Strasbourg.

    -Flying to Barcelona-El Prat Airport:
    - From the UK: British AirwaysIberia and low cost Monarch, Vueling and EasyJet all operate direct flights out of London. EasyJet also fly direct from Bristol and Belfast, while Ryanair fly direct from Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

    - From Ireland: Flying from Dublin, you can find direct flights operated by Air Lingus and Ryanair, while Ryanair also fly direct from Cork.

    - From Germany: Carriers flying direct out of Berlin include: Air Berlin, Iberia, Vueling, EasyJet and Germanwings. Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines also fly direct out of Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich. Vueling also fly out of Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich. 

    - From the Netherlands: KLM, Iberia, Vueling and Transavia all provide direct flights from Amsterdam to Barcelona, while Transavia also fly direct out of Rotterdam and Eindhoven.

    - From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: SAS, Norwegian and Vueling fly direct from Stockholm, Sweden, Oslo, Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark. Ryanair also fly out of Stockholm and Oslo. Finnair, Iberia, Vueling and Norwegian fly direct from Helsinki, Finland. 

    - From France: Air France, Iberia, Vueling and EasyJet all fly direct from Paris. Vueling airlines further provide direct flights from Lyon, Toulouse, Marseille and Nice, while EasyJet also fly direct from Lyon and Nice.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • From Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport:
    - By Bus: A bus service regularly provides the liaison between Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport and Perpignan City Centre. From there you can then take a shuttle to Saint-Cyprien.

    - By Taxi: From the airport you can take a taxi directly to Saint-Cyprien for 50€ - 80€ (around £36 - £58) detending on the hour and the traffic.

    - By Car: you can rent a car from most major car rental companies at the airport. From there, follow signs for Perpignan on the D82. Then head West on the D617. Take the D81A all the way to Saint-Cyprien where you will take the D22 and follow the signs for the residence.

    From Toulouse-Blagnac Airport & Barcelona-El Prat Airport: renting a car at the airport is certainly the fastest and most cost effective way to Saint-Cyprien.
    - By Car:
    From Toulouse-Blagnac Airport: get on the A61 south in the direction of Montpellier until it connects with A9 Motorway. Merge West onto the A9 in the direction pf Perpignan/Barcelona until you reach exit Nº41 Perpignan-Nord. Take the D83 East and then the D81 South all the way to Saint-Cyprien where you will take the D22 and follow the signs for the residence.

    From Barcelona-El Prat Airport: Get on the AP-7/E-15 north bound in the direction of Figueres/Perpignan/France. Take the exit Nº 43 Le Boulou and merge East onto the D618. In Argelès-sur-mer merge north onto D914, and then merge East on the D612 at the first roundabout. At the following roundabout take the D22 all the way to Saint-Cyprien and follow the signs for the residence.

    - By train:
    From Toulouse-Blagnac Airport you can take The Flybus airport shuttle to the city centre that goes directly to the train station Matabiau. From there you can take the TER/TGV trains to Perpignan for around 40€ (about £29) per person. From Perpignan you can take the shuttle bus or a taxi to go to Saint-Cyprien.

    From Barcelona-El Prat Airport you can take the RENFE AVE from Barcelona Sants to Perpignan for around the same price. From Perpignan you can take the shuttle bus or a taxi to go to Saint-Cyprien.

BY TRAIN

  • To get to Saint-Cyprien by train, there are 2 stations nearby:

    -The Elne Station which is located 8km (around 5mi) from Saint-Cyprien, just 15 minutes by car. It is accessible by trains from Paris, Luxembourg, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Narbonne, Nîmes, Avignon, Perpignan or Argelès-sur-mer. You can then go by taxi to the Residence blue sea.

    -The Perpignan Station is located 22km (around 14mi) from Saint-Cyprien, just 30 minutes by car. The Perpignan train station is served by the TGV and TER trains from Paris, Montpellier, Brussels, Lille, Lyon, Dijon, Toulouse, Marseille and Strasbourg. You can then take a taxi or the shuttle to St-Cyprien.
