View all offersAs the second largest island of the Mediterranean, Sardinia boasts an exemplary beachside lifestyle, historically fascinating landmarks and an absolutely unique take on Italian culture. This is where you’ll discover archaeological wonders of ancient civilisations and food that combines a variety of new and exciting flavours. Streets of stone walls and hanging baskets set the scene for your day out in town, with homey cafes and artisan stores welcoming you in the warm, Sardinian way. From the moment you arrive, you can’t help but fall in love with this island. Amidst epic remnants of dramatic conquests and lush wildlife in the commune of Guspini is where you’ll find the Tartheshotel, tucked away in a peaceful and unimposing manner, just waiting to be discovered by island adventurers.
The lobby and hotel lounge combine Arabian-inspired grandeur with majestic columns and beautifully patterned carpets. Wooden coffee tables topped with flowers and candles immediately catch your eye, setting the mood for romance and relaxation.
The airy and fresh rooms reflect the traditionally Sardinian look of the hotel’s exterior, but with a slightly more modern feeling. Scattered here and there are characteristic touches of luxury, from aromatic potpourri to elegant vases. From the window, you can appreciate Tartheshotel’s many rose bushes, along with the island’s endlessly blue skies and distant hills. The room’s hand-embroidered linen and large bed frame are examples of classic Sardinian furnishing, combining natural earthy tones with celestial whites.
The room’s wide glossy table invites you to spread out your maps and guidebooks in preparation for an event-filled day of exploration, or alternatively you can turn to the wicker armchair that tempts you to simply sit down, put your feet up and treat yourself to a little something from the mini bar’s bountiful selection.
In the evening, the hotel’s restaurant recreates old Sardinian recipes in a cosy, almost cave-like environment. A crackling fire, rustic wooden decor and stone walls surround you as you enjoy a delicious number of traditional dishes. Aside from the wonderful restaurant, guests must also take advantage of the spectacular wine cellar which organizes tasting and private dining.
