BY PLANE
Heraklion International Airport, “Nikos Kazantzakis” (HER), Crete's main airport, sits around 5 km / 3 mi east of Heraklion on the central northern coast. It is around 17 km / 10 mi (17 minutes') drive from the hotel. The airport receives flights from a large number of cities across Europe, including the UK. Many flights operate in the summer seaon, otherwise it may be required to fly indirect via Athens.
From the airport to the hotel:
• Taxi: available outside the main terminal, however, it is highly recommended to book in advance, especially in summer.
• Car: renting a car is a very convenient way to reach the hotel and provides more freedom to explore the beautiful island of Crete during your stay. It is highly recommended to book in advance, especially in summer. The hotel provides free private parking with valet service.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
