The Richmond Nua Wellness Spa holds a beautiful location on the banks of Lake Sapanca, one of the most peaceful geographies of Turkey, around an hour and a half to two hours’ drive from Istanbul.

BY PLANE

  • Istanbul currently has two airports: Ataturk Airport on the European side and Sabiha Gokcen Airport, which is much closer to the hotel, on the Asian side.

    Flights to Sabiha Gokcen Airport (closer to the hotel):
    - From the UK: Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines fly from London.

    - From Germany: Germanwings from Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Hamburg, and Stuttgart. Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines both fly from Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.

    - From the Netherlands: Corendon Dutch Airlines fly from Amsterdam and Eindhoven. Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines both fly from Amsterdam and Transavia also fly from Eindhoven.

    - From Sweden, Denmark, and Norway: Pegasus Airlines fly from Stockholm in Sweden and Copenhagen in Denmark. Norwegian fly from Oslo in Norway.

    - From France: Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines offer flights from Paris. Pegasus Airlines also fly from Lyon, Nice and Marseille.

    Flights to Ataturk Airport:
    - From the UK: Direct flights from London to Istanbul are available from British Airways and Turkish Airlines. The same companies provide indirect flights from other major cities in the UK.

    - From Ireland: Flying from Dublin, you can find direct flights provided by Turkish Airlines.

    - From Germany: Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines provide direct flights from most major cities, including: Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.

    - From the Netherlands: Departing from Amsterdam, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus and Transavia all provide direct flights. Flying out from Rotterdam, both Turkish Airlines and Transavia provide direct flights, and from Eindhoven, Transavia.

    - From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: Turkish Airlines fly direct from all the respective capital cities: Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki. Norwegian also fly direct from Oslo, and Pegasus also fly direct from Copenhagen.

    - From France: Direct flights from both Paris and Marseille are provided by Air France, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus. Turkish Airlines also provide direct flights from other major cities including, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Nice.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • From Sabiha Gokcen Airport to the hotel:
    - By Hotel Transfer Service: The hotel offers a transfer at a rate of 100€ one way. This should be arranged and confirmed in advance with the hotel.

    - By Car: Car rental companies can be found at the airport; the Richmond Nua Wellness-Spa is located approximately 80 minutes’ drive (100 km / 62.1 mil.) away. From the roundabout infront of the airport, take the exit heading away from the airport. Shortly after take the right fork in the road and make you way onto the Anadolu Otoyolu / A-4 / E80 in the direction of Kocaeli / Ankara. After about 50 minutes take the exit for Sapanca. Turn right onto İzmit Cd. When you see the large roundabout to your left, turn left and head straight over. At the following small roundabout turn left followed by a right over the train tracks. Then continue straight on to the hotel.

    From Ataturk Airport to the hotel:
    - By Car: Leaving the airport, make your way onto the E5 / 0-1 towards Bakırköy / Aksaray / Ankara. Keep following signs for Ankara eventually onto the E80 / 0-4. After about an hour and a half look out for and take the exit for Sapanca. Turn right onto İzmit Cd. When you see the large roundabout to your left, turn left and head straight over. At the following small roundabout turn left followed by a right over the train tracks. Then continue straight on to the hotel.
