Belgium’s second city, Antwerp lies to the north of the country along the estuary of the River Scheldt and is a busy port. The closest airport to the hotel is Antwerp International Airport, located just 4.7km/2.9mi from the Crowne Plaza Antwerpen. However, the Antwerp Airport only receives flights from London Southend (Flybe) and London City (CityJet). Flying into Brussels National Airport is also an option providing more flight options. Flights to Brussels are listed below:

- From the UK: British Airways, Brussels Airlines and EasyJet operate direct flights out of London. Brussels Airlines and Ryanair operate direct flights from Edinburgh and Manchester while Brussels Airlines also provide flights from Birmingham and Bristol.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

- By Airport Transfer Service: provided by the hotel on request and for a surcharge.

- By Taxi: taxis can be found outside the terminal. A taxi from Brussels national airport to the hotel costs between 95€ and 110€ (around £68-£79) and takes approximately 30 minutes.

- By Train: from Brussels national airport take the Belgian Railways (NMBS/SNCB, intercity line) to Antwerpen Central. From Antwerpen Central take the bus 17 towards Rijnkaai - Centraal Station - UZA from the Antwerpen Centraal Station perron 11 stop. Get off at the
Antwerpen G. Le Grellelaan stop which is right in front of the hotel.

- By Car: leaving the airport head northwest toward Leopoldlaan. Next, after 230m take a slight left onto the A201. Continue straight onto the A201 and follow signs for Brussels. Merge onto the E19 and continue onto this road for 34km/21mi. Keep left to continue on Generaal Lemanstraat/N155. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto the ramp to Desguinlei/R10 and keep left to merge onto Desguinlei/R10. Turn left onto Gerard le Grellelaan (signs for N150/Breda/E19/Haven 1-999/Luik/E313/Eindhoven/E34) and enter the entrance of the hotel on the left.

BY TRAIN

From within the Netherlands trains can be found and booked via Eurostar and Thalys. Together, the companies Eurostar and Thalys operate high speed train services from Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium and France to many cities within the EU.
