The Plaza Hotel ★★★★

A precious gem amongst the city of diamonds.

By Melanie Webb, VeryChic correspondent
Diamonds, chocolate, medieval landmarks and a friendly atmosphere, Antwerp is a lot more than your average European city. This city has showed itself to be strong as it survived frequent bombing during WW2, yet its cobbled streets and Baroque architecture from the time of famous Belgian, Pieter Paul Rubens, have spectacularly survived.  It is tough like a diamond, and sparkles like the very jewels for which it is so famous.
