Oh for a beaker full of the warm south, Full of the true, the blushful Hippocrene, With beaded bubbles winking at the brim… my favourite Keats poem was playing on my mind as I trudged home through another grey London evening. My husband felt the same. With a break coming up, we decided on the spur of the moment to fly south to the sun like swallows, to catch up with the receding warmth of our distant star. In the five-star Lindian Village we found what we wanted and much, much more!

  • Rhodes International Airport, "Diagoras" (RHO) sits around 14 km / 7 mi southwest of Rodos, the island's capital, and around 57km / 35mi (50 minutes') drive from the hotel.

    The airport receives many flights from large cities and capitals across Europe, including the UK. Many flights are seasonal, however, and it may be necessary to fly indirect via Athens.
