The db San Antonio Hotel & Spa **** is located on the northern coast of of the island of Malta, right in the heart of Qawra, St. Paul's Bay. The hotel overlooks the clear Mediterranean Sea and is just 15km from the capital, Valletta.
BY PLANE
The island is served by the Malta International Airport, 16 km (10 mi) south of the hotel.
- From the UK: Air Malta, EasyJet and Ryanair fly from London. Easyjet also fly from Manchester and Belfast while Ryanair also fly from Bristol, Birmingham and Edinburgh.
- From Ireland: Out of Dublin, direct flights are operated by Ryanair.
- From Germany: Air Malta fly direct out of Dusseldorf and Munich and TUIfly fly direct out of Frankfurt and Munich. Air Berlin and Air Malta also offer indirect flights from other cities.
- From the Netherlands: Air Malta fly direct from Amsterdam, and Ryanair from Eindhoven.
- From Sweden: SAS fly seasonally and Ryanair fly year-round from Stockholm. From Denmark: Seasonal flights are available from Norwegian.
- From Norway: Seasonal flights are available from SAS and Norwegian.
- From France: Air Malta fly direct from Paris and Ryanair also fly from Marseille.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By private transfer service: The hotel provides private transfer services to & from the airport. Various options are available depending on the time of day & number of people, more information can be found on the hotel’s dedicated Airport Transfers page.
- By bus: There a number of airport buses (run by Malta Public Transport) that leave from the Airport; in order to reach the hotel take the X1 bus to Salini (buses depart every 30 minutes). Once in Salini take the no. 12 bus the short remaining distance to Bugibba Bay.
- By taxi: Taxis are available 24 hours a day from the airport to any destination in Malta. Fixed rates are applicable and tickets can be purchased from a booth inside the Arrival hall, just outside the Baggage Reclaim Area.
- By car: Most major car rental desks can be found in the Arrival hall just outside the Baggage Reclaim Area.
Leaving the airport follow the signs to the locality of Hal Qormi. As you arrive at a roundabout in Qormi, take the road Triq l-Imdina which is situated on the left hand side towards Rabat/Mdina. Keep driving until you reach another roundabout leading to Mdina. Follow signs to Mosta, Burrmarrad and St. Paul’s Bay. After you pass the village of Burmarrad, you’ll arrive at a roundabout leading you to St. Paul’s Bay. Continue on towards the Bugibba promenade & Bugibba square. Keep going for another 2 km towards Qawra and you will see the hotel on the right hand side.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
