Most visitors will leave Athens impressed by its vibrant street life, its undeniable urban soul and its relaxed lifestyle. It’s the oldest city in Europe, and a place where people take time out for endless coffees and evening strolls, staying up well after the rest of Europe have gone to bed. Its unique diversity gives it character and charm, and the fascinating 2000 years of history flows into neighbourhoods and bustling streets like a river of centuries, colour and people. In the heart of the monument-rich Ancient Athens district, is something else to your heart racing… a refurbished neoclassical building which has been transformed into the outstanding AthensWas Hotel.
