BY TRAIN

  • The closest train station is Warwick Parkway, about 25 minutes’ taxi ride from the hotel. Train times, routes and tickets can be found online with National Rail.

    International trains arrive first to London’s St. Pancras International Station and can be found and booked via Rail Europe (together, the companies Eurostar, TGV and Thalys operate high-speed train services from France, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands etc.).
    Once in London, take the underground Victoria Line to Oxford Circus and change to the Bakerloo Line to Marylebone. From there you may take a train to Warwick Parkway, costing around £30 and taking around 2 hours.

BY CAR

  • From the M40 Northbound: Exit at junction 13. Turn left and then first right. Continue through Newbold Pacey. Turn left at the T-junction in Wellesbourne. Turn right after the Watermill, following signs for Walton Hall. Continue down the single lane for 1.5 miles.

    From the M40 Southbound: Exit at junction 15. Take the fourth exit onto the A429 to Cirencester. Continue through Barford. Turn left at the next roundabout for Wellesbourne. Turn right after the Watermill, following signs for Walton Hall. Continue down the single lane for 1.5 miles.

BY PLANE

  • There are several small and little served airports around the inn however, the easiest well served airport to get to the hotel from is Birmingham International Airport around 31 miles / 50 km (40 minutes’ drive) from the hotel.

    - From the UK: Eastern Airways fly only from Newcastle upon Tyne. EasyJet operated flights from Belfast-International while Flybe fly from Aberdeen, Belfast-City, Edinburgh and Glasgow-International.

    - From Ireland: Aer Lingus, Ryanair only fly from Dublin while Stobart Air operated flights out of Cork, Dublin and Shannon. VLM Airlines fly from Waterford.

    - From Germany: Flybe fly from Berlin-Tegel, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart. Eurowings operated from Düsseldorf and Hamburg. Lufthansa fly out of Frankfurt, Munich (begins 1 August 2015) while Lufthansa CityLine fly from Munich.

    - From the Netherlands: Flybe, KLM & KLM Cityhopper all fly from Amsterdam.

    - From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: Scandinavian Airlines only fly from Copenhagen.

    - From France: EasyJet operates seasonal flights from Grenoble while Flybe fly regularly from Bordeaux, Lyon, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and seasonally form Avignon, Bergerac, Biarritz, Brest, Chambéry, Deauville (begins 23 June 2015) and La Rochelle. Monarch fly from Nice regularly and froom Grenoble seasonally. Ryanair operated seasonal flights from Perpignan. Thomas Cook has seasonal flights from Grenoble while Thomson Airways operates seasonally only from Chambéry.

    Getting from the airports to the hotel:

    - By taxi: Taxis can be found at the airport or booked online in advance. The basic fare to reach the hotel should be around £70.
