A stylish hotel in the heart of all the action.

By Louise Jackson, VeryChic correspondent
“Rome is the city of echoes, the city of illusions, and the city of yearning” ~ Giotto di Bondone
Rome is also the city of tremendous food, the city of vibrant street life and the city of a wealth of culture to be explored. No matter how many times you visit Rome, there will always be more to discover the next time you return. It is a magical mix where history reverberates all around, yet bustling modern life continues alongside it in perfect harmony. Now all you need is a suitably stylish boutique hotel that lives up to that elegant Italian style, and I know just the place...

  • Strolling around and soaking up the atmosphere in the café and bar culture, which is a popular activity in Rome. It’s especially nice to do so as the sun begins to set and the trendy l’aperitivo crowd emerges. We enjoyed ‘Gusto’, although it was busy. Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 9, 00186 Roma. +39 06 322 6273.
  • St. Valentine’s head! Claimed to be the skull of the patron saint of lovers, it lies in a glass reliquary in a small basilica called Santa Maria. (It can be found in the side altar on the left side of the church.) Piazza della Bocca della Verita, 18. 00186. Rome, Italy.
