  • The cosy, traditional style. All the rooms were refurbished in 2015, but they still have a lovely rustic atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
  • Those views! The hotel is set high in the Swiss Alps surrounded by preserved, natural landscapes, so everywhere you look, you are treated to breathtaking views.
  • The great location. Apart from being exquisitely picturesque, it’s also very convenient. The cable car station is just 200 metres away and the town centre is a short 1.5 kilometre drive.
  • The wonderful food. The hotel is well known for its cuisine, and for good reason. The restaurant’s menu is filled with classic and refined French dishes that are sure to tantalise your taste buds.

You know that image that goes on the boxes of Swiss chocolates that they sell in airports? The one with the blue sky, magnificent mountains and cute timber chalets? I’ve always wondered if it was real, or if it had simply been imagined and created by some kind of clever gadget or gizmo. Well, it turns out that it is real, and you can see it everywhere you turn at the Mont Paisible.

The Mont Paisible hotel is in the very chic Swiss ski resort, located in Crans-Montana; a municipality in the district of Sierre in the canton of Valais, Switzerland.

BY PLANE

  • Geneva Intenational Airport (approx 181 km away) is the closest well served intnernational airport, located 2 hours' drive west of the hotel, it receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By train: the total journey takes around 3 hours. Take a train to Sierre/Siders SMC, and then the best way is to finish the journey with a short taxi ride (Sierre taxi service number: +41 900 39 60 00).
    Book train tickets on SBB.

    - By car: the drive to the airport takes around 2 hours via the A1/E25/E62 to Lausanne/Gd-Saconnex/Ferney. Merge onto A1/E25/E62 and follow this road for 53km, and at the interchange 19-Villars-Ste-Croix, follow signs for E62/A9 toward Simplon/Gd-St-Bernard/Fribourg/Vevey/Montreux/Lausanne-Nord. Continue onto Continue onto A9/E62 for around 75km, keep left to continue on A9 and take exit 27-Sion-est toward Sion-est/Val d'Hérens/Savièse/Ayent.
