Built in the 17th Century, the Chateau de Saulon **** in the heart of the vineyards in Burgundy, a couple of miles south of Dijon.

BY PLANE

  • Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) is the nearest well-served airport, located around 200 km / 130 mi / 2 hours' drive south of the hotel. It is fairly well-served with flights from a number of capitals and other major cities across Europe, including the UK.

    Alternatively, EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (MLH, BSL, EAP) is about 2 hours & 30 minutes' drive east of the hotel (it receives a number of flights from across Europe, including the UK), or Geneva Airport (GVA) is about 2 hours & 40 minutes' drive southeast of the hotel (it receives flights from most capitals and many other major cities across Europe, including the UK).

BY TRAIN

  • Gare de Dijon-Ville train station is the closest to the hotel and is well connected to Paris, Switzerland and south of France with France's high-speed TGV services. The ride from Paris-Gare de Lyon takes less than 2 hours which makes flying to Paris then taking the train a viable option.

    From the station to the the hotel, the most convenient option is a 15-minute taxi ride.
