    From the UK & Ireland: Between them, British Airways (BA), EasyJet & Flybe operate flights to London from elsewhere in the UK including Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Manchester, Leeds & Newcastle (Flybe additionally fly seasonally from Exeter and Newquay). Aer Lingus and Ryanair fly from Dublin, Cork and Shannon. BA also fly from Dublin.

    From Germany: Direct flights from major cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne and Munich, are available from the following airlines: BA, Air Berlin, Lufthansa, EasyJet, Ryanair & Germanwings.

    From Belgium: BA, Brussels Airlines & Easyjet all offer flights from Brussels.

    From the Netherlands: KLM, BA, EasyJet, CityJet & Flybe provide direct flights from Amsterdam. BA, Cityjet and KLM also fly out of Rotterdam and Ryanair fly from Eindhoven.

    From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: BA, SAS, Norwegian and EasyJet fly direct from Stockholm in Sweden and Oslo in Norway. The same, except replacing EasyJet with Ryanair, fly from Copenhagen in Denmark. BA, Norwegian and Finnair fly direct from Helsinki in Finland.

    From France: Between them, BA, Air France, EasyJet, Ryanair & CityJet fly direct from Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier, Marseille & Nice.

GET FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE HOTEL

  • From London Heathrow:
    - By Train: the cheapest and probably most convenient method is taking the underground (metro) Piccadilly Line (dark blue) to Gloucester Road station. From there, switch to the District line (green) to Sloane Square.

    From London Gatwick:
    - By Train: the Gatwick Express to London Victoria runs regularly, taking 30 minutes. Tickets are around £20 single (£10 for children) or £35 return (£18 for children); it is a little cheaper if booked in advance. For around £15, Southern Trains operate four times an hour to London Victoria, taking around 35-40 minutes. From there, take the underground’s Circle (yellow) or District (green) line to Sloane Square.

    - By Bus: the National Express operates direct coach services also to London Victoria once an hour with a journey time of around 90 minutes. Tickets are around £8 single, £15 return. From there, see above for directions to the hotel.
    A low-cost, frequent and non-stop transfer service is also operated by EasyBus from North and South terminals to Earls Court/West Brompton. The journey takes about an hour. From there, the most convenient way is to walk to Earl’s Court underground station and take the District line (green) to Sloane Square.

    From London City:
    - By Train: there is a DLR train station in front of the airport; take the DLR (turquoise line) to Canning Town. Here, take the Jubilee Line (grey) to Westminster and switch to the Circle (yellow) or District (green) line to Gloucester Road Sloane Square.

    - By Taxi: London City airport is close to central London, therefore a cab will cost around £40.

    From London Luton:
    - By Train: A shuttle bus goes to Luton Airport Parkway Station where trains run to London St Pancras/ Kings Cross in 25 minutes. Tickets are around £18 single and £30 return. From there take the Victoria line to Green park and take bus line 19 or 22 to Sloane Square.

    - By Bus: the The National Express to London Victoria (about 35 minutes) is around £10 single and £15 return. From there, take the underground’s Circle (yellow) or District (green) line to Sloane Square.

    From London Stansted:
    - By Train: the Stansted Express runs to Tottenham Hale Underground in about 50 minutes, for around £23 single and £33 return. From there, take the Victoria line (light blue) to Victoria and switch to the District (green) or Circle (yellow) line to Sloane Square.
