Hôtel Beauchamps ★★★★

Cosmopolitan chic and quiet comfort in the heart of Paris.

By Vivien Fox, VeryChic correspondent
If your idea of heaven is simply to be in Paris, how much more heavenly than being right by the Champs Elysées, the Elysian Fields surrounding the grand avenue where, just before the turn of the 20th century, the young Marcel Proust played as a child with his beloved sweetheart Gilberte. How to recreate that bygone atmosphere? The nearby Hotel Beauchamps **** has an ambience, a palette and an air of peace which the young M. Proust would have adored.
