TRAIN
Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris Gare de l’Est. From Gare du Nord, take the RER line B to Port Royal, and form Gare de l’Est take line 4 to Les Halles and change to the B line to Port Royal.
Eurostar operates trains from London St. Pancras International to Paris Gare du Nord. Meanwhile Thalys operate fast trains from Dusseldorf and Cologne, while direct regular trains can be found from both cities as well as Frankfurt. Trains from Germany terminate at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris Gare de l’Est. Thalys also run direct trains from Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, also to Paris Gare du Nord. The French TGV operate fast trains from all over France and some other neighbouring countries.
PLANE
Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km / 16 mi to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km / 8.1 mi south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km / 53 mi north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).
Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.
HOW TO GET FROM FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE HOTEL
From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport:
- By Taxi: taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 50€ to 65€ (around £36 to £46).
- By Train: this is generally the most cost-efficient method. The airport connects to the city via Line B of the RER. Take the train to Gare du Nord, switch to Line E to Saint Lazare, and then switch to the metro Line 13 to Varenne. The hotel is then just a 5-minute walk away. From Paris Orly Airport:

- By Train: the airport is connected to RER Line B via the bus service Orlyval, which will drop you off at the RER station Anthony.
