  • The breakfasts - organic hams and cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, aromatic coffee and of course, Viennese pastries. It’s the perfect start to the day.
  • The musical theme. The hotel has its own radio station, there’s a stage for small, live concerts, and you can even rent guitars from reception if you feel like an impromptu jam session.
  • The yoga and meditation room for relaxation. After all, a day of sightseeing can be stressful!
  • The galley kitchen which is open 24 hours to hotel guests. Here you can enjoy free hot drinks or take advantage of the supersize vending machine which sells everything from umbrellas and toothpaste to beer and organic chewing gum.
Ruby Marie Hotel

A deliciously decadent treat in Vienna.

By Emma Dance, VeryChic correspondent
Vienna is famous for many things – music, waltzes, prancing horses, and the most delicious of all, the cakes. Visit any one of the elegant coffee houses dotted around the city and you will be confronted with an astounding array of sweet treats, from crisp apple strudel to fluffy kaiserschmarren. But perhaps the most famous is the decadent Sachertorter. Tempting, luxurious and sometimes surprising, it’s not unlike the Ruby Marie Hotel, where I found myself for my VeryChic escape to the Austrian capital.
