Hotel De Boskar 1773 ★★★★

Authentic boutique hotel in tranquil Belgian town.

By Ellie Burnage, VeryChic correspondent
I’ll let you into a little secret: we’re one of those families that are serial offenders of the package holiday; plenty of sun, sea and unlimited refreshments, because that’s the real way to escape the stresses of everyday life, right? Wrong. This year, we decided to try something different; a stay at the Hotel De Boskar 1773 ****, in the north-eastern Belgian town of Peer surrounded by peaceful green landscape, a stark contrast to the daily grind of our life in London. And how did this work out? Well, a week of idyllic Belgian towns and family bike rides later, we all returned as equally refreshed and rejuvenated, just slightly less sunburnt than usual!
