BY PLANE
The nearest airport is Girona–Costa Brava Airport. Ryanair offer year-round & seasonal flights from many cities across Europe to Girona while some other low-cost airlines also operate seasonal flights from particular countries, like Thomson Airways from the UK or Transavia from the Netherlands.
You will also find a much larger selection of international flights to Barcelona-El Prat Airport.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
From Girona Airport:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport will take around 50 minutes and will cost 80€ - 95€.
By bus/train: There is a bus from the airport to the centre of Girona every half an hour. From there, take the AVE train to Figueres Vilafant then a 20 minute taxi ride to the hotel.
By car: If you hire a car from the airport, get onto the E15 from the N156 and after around 42 kilometres, take exit 4 towards Roses. Merge onto the NII then take the exit towards Castelló d'Empúries/Roses. Follow the C260 then turn onto Avinguda de la Tramuntana. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Avinguda Joan Carles I/Carrer Sant Maurici then the 3rd exit onto Carrer Poblat Típic/Carrer Salins 4ª Línea and the hotel will be on your right.
From Barcelona Airport:
By train: From the airport, the Renfe train goes to the centre every half an hour. Get off at Sants and from there, get the train to Figueres Vilafant which takes an hour and costs 17€ - 25€. It is then a 20 minute taxi ride to the hotel.
By car: It will take just under 2 hours to drive to the hotel. Merge onto the Ronda de Dalt/B-20/C-32 towardBarcelona/Tarragona/Lleida/Girona and continue onto the B-20/C-32 for around 12 kilometres. Use the left 2 lanes to merge onto the C-58toward Girona/AP-7/Terrassa/Manresa then take the AP-7 exit towards Girona/França. Merge onto the C-33 then continue onto the Ap-7 and take exit 4 towards Roses. Merge onto the NII then take the exit towards Castelló d'Empúries/Roses. Follow the C260 then turn onto Avinguda de la Tramuntana. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Avinguda Joan Carles I/Carrer Sant Maurici then the 3rd exit onto Carrer Poblat Típic/Carrer Salins 4ª Línea and the hotel will be on your right.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
