Situated on a peaceful street in the lively 2nd arrondissement, the Citadines Opera Paris are just a 15 minute walk from the Louvre.

BY PLANE

  • Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).

    Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.

     

BY TRAIN

  • From the UK is it possible to book via Eurostar, otherwise Thalys or TGV operate from other neighbouring counties and elsewhere in France.

     

    Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris Gare de l’Est.

HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL

  • From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport:
    By taxi: They are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the taxi rank. Fares vary considerably depending on traffic, but expect to pay anywhere between 45 and 50 euros.

    By train: This is generally the most cost-efficient method. The airport is connected to the city via the RER; take the train to Paris Chatelet/Les Halles, and from there it is a 20 minute walk or a quick taxi journey to the hotel. Tickets are 9.75€ or 6.85€ for children (ages 4-9).

    From Paris Orly Airport:
    By taxi: They are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the taxi rank. Fares vary considerably depending on traffic, but expect to pay anywhere between 28 and 35 euros.

    By train: Take the Orly Sud train to Antony Ratp and then change to Paris Chatelet/Les Halles, and from there it is a 20 minute walk or a quick taxi journey to the hotel.

    From Paris-Beauvais Airport:
    By bus: There is a shuttle bus operating between the airport and Porte Maillot in the city centre every ten minutes (16€). From there you take the metro (line 1) to Tuileries, and from there it is a 15 minute walk to the hotel.

    From Gare du Nord:
    By taxi: It takes less than 5 minutes by taxi and costs 6€ - 7€ to get to the hotel.

    From Gare Montparnasse:
    By taxi: It takes 5 minutes by taxi and costs 9€ - 11€ to get to the hotel.
    By metro: Take line 12 from Montparnasse Bienvenüe to Notre-Dame de Lorette and from there it is a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel.

    From Gare de Lyon:
    By taxi: It takes 5-10 minutes by taxi and costs 11€ - 13€ to get to the hotel.
    By train: Take the metro (line 14) to Madeleine and then change to line 8 to Richelieu Drouot. It is then a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
