HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
From Trieste Airport
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around an hour and can cost up to 300€ - 350€.
By bus: The E51 bus goes from the airport to Trieste every hour and costs 5€ - 6€. From there, there are two daily buses to Portoroz which take an hour and a half and cost around 6€. It is then just a 1 minute walk to the hotel.
By car: Follow signs for Via Aquileia/SS14 then merge onto the A4/E70 and continue for 31 kilometres. Continue onto the RA13 and take the exit towards Muggia/Rabuiese/Capodistria/Slovenia. Continue onto the NSA326 to enter Slovenia then continue onto the H6. Continue onto Route 111 then at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Koprska cesta/Valeta- Piran then the 2nd exit onto Koprska cesta. Turn right onto Obala and the hotel will be on your right. From Pula Airport:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around an hour and can cost up to 120€ - 150€.
By bus: There is a bus from the airport to Pula every 3 hours. From there, there are buses to Portoroz however please note that they do not run on a regular basis.
By car: Get onto the A9/E751 and continue for 77 kilometres then exit onto the D200 and continue onto Route 11 for 6 kilometres. Turn right onto Lucija (signs for Portorož) then left onto Podvozna cesta. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Obala and the hotel will be on your right. Grid reference: 45.514726, 13.590145.
From Ljubljana Airport:
By car: If you are flying to Ljubljana Airport, the quickest way to arrive is by car. The total journey will take around an hour and 20 minutes. Merge onto the A2/E61 and continue onto the E61 for 65km, then continue onto the A1, H5 and H6. Continue onto Route 111 then at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Koprska cesta/Valeta- Piran then take the 2nd exit onto Koprska cesta. Turn right onto Obala and the hotel will be on your right. Grid reference: 45.514726, 13.590145.
By bus: There are five daily buses from Ljubljana train station to Portorož which take around two hours and cost 10€ - 12€. From there, it is a 6 minute walk to the hotel, along Obala.
