Set on a headland on the border of Meuse, bordered by the rivers Bièvre and Vra in the Ardennes département of France, the Château de Sedan is a unique medieval fortress in Sedan, two hours south of Brussels.

  • In terms of distance, Luxembourg Findel Airport is the closest to the hotel (1 and a half hour drive). Some flights are listed below. Alternatively, Charleroi Airport and Paris CDG Airport are a 2 and a half hour drive away.

    - From Germany: Hahn Air fly from Dusseldorf, and Luxair operate flights from Berlin-Tegel, Hamburg and Saarbrücken.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • By car: From Luxembourg, merge onto the A1 around Luxembourg City then merge onto the A6 to enter Belgium. Continue onto the E25 for 42 kilometres then continue onto the E411. Take exit 25-Libramont-Chevigny for N89 towards Libramont-Chevigny/Sedan/Bouillon/Bertrix/St-Hubert/Reims then follow the N89 into France. Continue onto Route de Sedan/N58 and take the exit onto E46/N43 towards Charleville-Mézières/Sedan/Reims. Take exit 3-Balan towards Balan/Sedan-Château then continue to follow the D8043A into Sedan. Take a slight right onto Fbg du Ménil then onto Place Nassau/D977. Continue straight onto Boulevard de la Rochette then follow signs for Avenue Aristide Briand. Turn left onto Rue du Château then merge onto Place du Château and the hotel will be on your left. Grid reference: 49.702168, 4.949322.

    By public transport: There are trains every 2 hours from Luxembourg to Longwy. From there, there are 3 trains each day to Sedan, which take around an hour and cost 9€ - 13€. It is then a 25 minute walk or a quick taxi ride to the hotel.
