View all offersParadise: a place of extreme beauty, delight, or happiness.
On catching your first glimpse of the endless luscious greenery and stunning landscapes that make up the island of Mauritius, you may think you’ve died and gone to heaven – but we can assure you that this slice of paradise, floating languorously in the Indian Ocean, is yours for the taking.
Beauty
Nestled in the UNESCO-listed Le Morne peninsula on the south west of the island, the Riu Le Morne **** is surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty, from the palm trees dancing in the breeze to the gently undulating waves of the ocean. And this outstanding beauty is mirrored within the establishment itself: the entire complex, having been newly renovated in 2014, is contemporary and bright, decorated with fixtures and furnishings which nod to the rich Mauritian culture. The rooms offer supreme comfort, and some offer wonderful views over the verdant garden.
Delight
There’s nothing like a treasured holiday memory that brings a smile to your face; and there’s no dearth of delightful moments to be had here. In fact, the whole atmosphere is delightful in itself – the adults-only policy makes for a truly exclusive and tranquil atmosphere. Moreover, food lovers will undoubtedly be jumping for joy – there are no less than four fabulous restaurants to choose from. Indulge in the international buffet-style fare of La Rivière, the à la carte cuisine of Kulinarium or head over to neighbouring Hotel Riu Creole to sample the offerings of their Asian and Indian restaurants.
Happiness
If you ever tire of gawping at the idyllic scenery and leisurely watching the world go by, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. For adventurous souls, water sports such as kayaking, paddle surfing and windsurfing are available from the immaculate beaches. Or, if you’re more the type that likes to lounge, head to one of the two glistening swimming pools encircled by brilliant white sun loungers which reflect the dazzling sunlight. As evening falls, you’ll be treated to live music several times a week, and be able to dance the night away at the discotheque and karaoke at the Hotel Riu Creole.
So, how do you fancy a trip to paradise?
