The Adaaran Select Meedhupparu **** is located in Raa Atoll, around 135 km / 85 mi north of Malé, the capital of the Maldives.
BY PLANE
Velana International Airport (MLE), also known as Malé Internetional Airport, is the main airport serving the Maldives archipelago and is located on Hulhulé Island in next to the capital island Malé.
A few airlines fly direct from a handful of European cities, such as British Airways seasonal from London Gatwick, Condor year-round from Frankfurt, Austrian Airlines seasonally from Vienna, or Edelweiss Air seasonally from Zurich.
However, it is far more likely that you will need to take a connecting flight with a changeover for example in Doha with Qatar Airways, Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways, or Dubai with Emirates. The total amont of flight time is usually around 12 & 14 hours.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
On arriving at Malé Airport, a transfer is organised by the hotel by hydroplane. The duration of the flight is 45 minutes. This service may be booked via the VeryChic customer services at a rate of 376€ return per adult and 188€ return per child. Important note:
- If your arrival is before 3.30pm, your transfer is guaranteed on the same day.
- If you flight arrives after 3.30pm, you will need to organise accommodation for the night in Malé. The transfer to the Adaaran Select Meedhupparu **** will be provided the following day.
Conditions for the seaplane transfer:
- Each passenger is allowed a carry-on bag of 5 kg maximum and a checked-in hold bad of 20 kg maximum.
- Any extra luggage will incur additional charges.
- It is possible that the luggage will travel on a different flight to passengers.
- The carrier reserves the right to refuse luggage that is too heavy, or too large, as will as illegal and dangerous articles.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
