Set in the heart of the new King’s Cross, the Great Northern Hotel is located at the gateway to London’s exciting new cultural quarter, right next to St Pancras station.

From within the UK trains can be found and booked via National Rail. From mainland Europe trains can be found and booked via Rail Europe. Together, the companies Eurostar and Thalys operate high speed train services from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France to London St Pancras International.

London is served by several airports: London Heathrow (west), London Gatwick (south), London Stansted (north-east), London Luton (north-west) and London City (south-east). Between them, they receive flights from most major cities across Europe, some are listed below:
From the UK & Ireland: Between them, British Airways (BA), EasyJet & Flybe operate flights to London from elsewhere in the UK including Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Manchester, Leeds & Newcastle (Flybe additionally fly seasonally from Exeter and Newquay). Aer Lingus and Ryanair fly from Dublin, Cork and Shannon. BA also fly from Dublin.
From Germany: Direct flights from major cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne and Munich, are available from the following airlines: BA, Air Berlin, Lufthansa, EasyJet, Ryanair & Germanwings.
From Belgium: BA, Brussels Airlines & Easyjet all offer flights from Brussels.
From the Netherlands: KLM, BA, EasyJet, CityJet & Flybe provide direct flights from Amsterdam. BA, Cityjet and KLM also fly out of Rotterdam and Ryanair fly from Eindhoven.
From Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland: BA, SAS, Norwegian and EasyJet fly direct from Stockholm in Sweden and Oslo in Norway. The same, except replacing EasyJet with Ryanair, fly from Copenhagen in Denmark. BA, Norwegian and Finnair fly direct from Helsinki in Finland.
From France: Between them, BA, Air France, EasyJet, Ryanair & CityJet fly direct from Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier, Marseille & Nice.

From London Heathrow:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around 25 minutes - fares can vary considerably.
By public transport: You can take the underground (Piccadilly line) all the way from the airport to King’s Cross St. Pancras and from there it is a 3 minute walk.
From London Gatwick:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel can take up to an hour and a half depending on traffic – fares can vary considerably.
By public transport: The quickest way to arrive by public transport is to get the Southern line from Gatwick to Victoria Station and then change to the underground and get the Victoria line to King’s Cross St. Pancras - from there it is a 3 minute walk.
From London City:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel takes around 45 minutes depending on traffic – fares can vary considerably.
By public transport: There is a DLR train station in front of the airport; take it for 9 stops to Stratford International, then take the Southeastern line to St Pancras International, just outside the hotel.
From London Luton:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel can take up to an hour depending on traffic – fares can vary considerably.
By public transport: A shuttle bus operates to Luton Airport Parkway Station. East Midlands Trains run to London St Pancras/Kings Cross in about 25 minutes. Tickets are around £18 single and £30 return.
From London Stansted:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel can take just over an hour depending on traffic – fares can vary considerably.
By public transport: The Stansted Express runs to Tottenham Hale in about 30 minutes, for around £23 single and £33 return. From there take the Victoria line to King’s Cross St. Pancras and it is then a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
