When we think of the Alps, we think of miles of pistes teeming with skiers, frosty mornings, and slippery après-ski bar hopping, but the French Alps have more to offer than just their wintery attractions. In summer, previously inaccessible crevasses and forests are exposed for outdoor enthusiasts. With its vast area covering a variety of flat slopes, waterfalls and forests, Alpe d’Huez is a winning choice, and the Hôtel le Pic Blanc is the ideal place for your cosy chalet base.
