Hotel Q! ★★★★

Futuristic design and homely comfort in Berlin’s most stylish hotel

By Edward Fairbairn, VeryChic correspondent
For a city so renowned for its fascinating history, it seems slightly odd that Berlin is so wholeheartedly, unreservedly focused on the future. Perhaps it is precisely because of the weight of history on its back that the city prefers to concentrate its energy on moving forwards, with its wild clubs and parties, its glamorous fashion scene and its youthful vibe. Anyway, one of the coolest spots to soak in the spirit of this new Berlin is the Hotel Q! A futuristic haven of design perfection, it is also warm, inviting, homely and comfortable. It was created by the same team who designed Brad Pitt’s Hollywood studio, and our romantic city break left us feeling just like Brad and Angelina, pampered with VIP treatment and superstar style. Just as the city itself, there is always a spark of creativity and a streak of glamour in the air, from the cutting-edge spa to the bar where a chic crowd of Berliners sip cocktails long into the night…
