Tenuta Pera di Basso
Via Pera Di Basso 10
80074
Ischia
Italy
Set into a high rocky cape in the village of Casamicciola, the Tenuta Pere di Basso offers stunning sea views, in the centre of Ischia Island.
The closest airport is that of the nearby city of Naples (on the Italian mainland). Naples-Capodichino International Airport (NAP) is found 5.9 km / 3.7 mi north-northeast of Naples and its port, from which boats depart for Ischia.
The airport receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe, flights from Scandinavia may include a stopover in Düsseldorf, Munich or Rome.
By public transport: The Alibus airport bus shuttles between the airport and just two other stops in Naples city centre: the Central Train Station (Napoli Centrale) and Molo Beverello Port. Tickets are 4€ single (or 3€ if bought in advance).
Get off at the Molo Beverello Port. From there it is possible to take a hydrofoil with Alilauro, SNAV or Caramar for between 15€ - 20€ (around £11.20 - £15) and taking around an hour. Caremar also offer regular ferry services for between 10€ and 15€ (around £7.50 - £11.20), taking closer to an hour and a half. There are two possible ports to arrive at, and the hotel can provide a transfer from either one.
By car: Most of the major car rental companies can be found at Terminal 1 Arrivals. Turn left when leaving the airport; follow the signs left and onto the Autostrada, then follow the sign for NAPOLI zona portuale. After this, follow by signs for Napoli with a little picture of a boat and eventually signs for Porto.
Car ferries leave from Calata Porta di Massa port, which is an adjacent pier to Molo Beverello Port (about 200 metres away). There are two possible ports to arrive at, take a ferry to Casamicciola which is closer to the hotel and from which the hotel offers a transfer service.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Local call charges may apply.
