    To enter the United Arab Emirate, it is mandatory to have a passport which is valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in the UAE, along with proof of return or onward travel out of the UAE.


  • Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) sits about 30km / 19mi east of Abu Dhabi city centre. The airport welcomes direct flights from across Europe, including from the UK.

    From the airport to the hotel:
    • Taxi: an Abu Dhabi airport taxi to the city centre should take around 25 minutes.
    • Bus: the A1 bus line into the city centre takes around 45 minutes.

Restaurants are open during the day, and it is possible to consume alcohol, as it is during the rest of the year (in the evening, however, it is agreed to wait for the Iftar before consuming it). The vast majority of tourist attractions will be open during Ramadan and crowds may be reduced. Cultural institutions and attractions may open 1 hour later in the morning and close 1 hour later in the evening.
