TRS Cap Cana Hotel promises to whisk you far away from the dreary grey of everyday life to a paradise in glorious technicolour. As someone who’s definitely guilty of burning the candle at both ends I figured this was the only way to get my deserved fill of R&R; and with the all-inclusive package I knew I’d never have to lift a finger. Just what the doctor ordered!

Despite its sprawling size, the TRS Cap Cana Hotel manages to achieve an exclusive, boutique feel thanks to its gorgeous design – a fresh, bright palette and Caribbean influences are anchored by light wood furniture, creating an effortlessly cool atmosphere mimicking the feel of island itself. If the astoundingly beautiful private beach wasn’t enough, the hotel also boasts an equally fabulous pool for lounging and soaking up the sun, where you can treat yourself to poolside cocktails and delectable Caribbean grilled cuisine. Lulled into a sun soaked stupor by the Caribbean rays, my own favourite way to round off the ultimate relaxation experience was with a visit (or a few) to the hotel’s spa, where a hammam, massages and a sauna await to well and truly melt your troubles away.
