The Cavanera Resort & Wine is set on the edge of Etna National Park, surrounded by vineyards in Castiglione di Sicilia on the island of Sicily. It is situated just an hour north of Catania.

  • The main international airport in Sicily is Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, and it is located in the second largest city, Catania.

    The airport receives direct flights from many European capitals and major cities, although many of the airlines only operate to the airport seasonally.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • By transfer: It is possible to arrange with the hotel in advance for a private transfer service to/from Catania Airport for a surcharge.

    By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around an hour and will cost 75€ - 90€.

    By car: From the airport, follow signs for Siracusa/Ragusa and merge onto SP701 then merge onto A18/E45 and continue for 44km. Take exit Fiumefreddo then at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto SS120. Turn right onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini/SS120 and continue for 14km then follow signs for the hotel.
