The Hotel Can Galvany **** overlooks the Sierra Litoral Mountains, in Vallromanes. This tranquil Catalonian hotel is found just half an hour from the centre of Barcelona.

Barcelona is served mainly by Barcelona-El Prat Airport, which is found just 12 km (around 7.5 mi) southwest of the city centre.
The airport is well served by flights from capitals and large cities all across Europe. While many airlines operate to and from Barcelona-El Prat, it acts notably as a main base for Vueling, and as a hub for Iberia, Air Europa, Ryanair, and Norwegian Air Shuttle.
We recommend flying to Barcelona-El Prat Airport as it is much closer and more convenient for reaching the city centre. However, low-cost airlines (most notably Ryanair) fly from a number of European destinations to Girona–Costa Brava Airport (GRO), located around 100km north of Barcelona. Some low-cost airlines, mostly from the UK and Ireland, also fly to Reus Airport (REU), located around 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Barcelona.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
By public transport: Trains run every 30 minutes from the airport to Sant Celoni. From there, take the 596 bus to Vallromanes (Av. Can Galvany), and it is then less than a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Check Renfe for more information.
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around 40 minutes and costs 50€ - 65€
By car: Merge onto the C-31 then take exit 196AB towards Barcelona/Rondes/Port/Girona/Lleida. Follow signs for B-10/Port/Mercabarna/Rda. Litoral and merge onto B-10. Take exit 27 to merge onto C-31 towards Badalona/Mataró/Montgat/N-11 then merge onto the C-32. Take exit 86 towards Alella/El Masnou/Teià. Turn right onto Ctra. Masnou-Granollers/BP-5002 (signs for Alella/Granollers) then continue to follow BP-5002. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Rambla de Vallromanes. Take a slight left onto Avinguda Can Galvany then turn left onto Carrer de Joan Carsi then turn left onto Carrer de la Marinada and the hotel will be on your right.
