BY PLANE
Faro Airport (FAO) is located 4 km / 2.5 mi west of Faro, in the Algarve.
It is a fairly well served international airport which receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe, as well as minor cities in the UK. Most of the flights to this airport operate seasonally, however the airport is a base for Ryanair, and the airline operates a number of year-round flights.
Another option is to fly to Lisbon Airport (LIS), around 2 hours and 25 minutes' drive to the north.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
By taxi: A taxi from Faro Airport to the hotel will take around 50 minutes and will cost 70€ - 90€.
By car: From Faro Airport, get onto the N125-10 then merge onto the IC4. Merge onto the A22, following signs for IC1/Portimão/Albufeira then take exit 5 for N124 towards Portimão. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto N124 then the 2nd exit onto the N266. From there, follow signs to the hotel. Grid reference: 37.279489, -8.551315.
