  • Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).

    Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.

     

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • From Paris Orly Airport:
    By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to the journey to be approx. 30 minutes.

    By public transport: Get the T7 from the airport for 16 stops to Villejuif-Louis Aragon, then change to metro line 7 for 15 stops to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre

    From Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport:
    By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to the journey to be approx. 35 minutes. It is then a 3-minute walk to the hotel.

    By public transport: Take the RER B train to Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame then get bus 27 from Saint-Michel to Musée du Louvre. It is then a 5-minute walk to the hotel.

    From Paris Beauvais Airport:

    By public transport: The Airport Shuttle Bus goes every ten minutes and takes 1 hour and 15 minutes (16€). Take the metro (line 1) from Porte Maillot to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre and it is then a 4-minute walk to the hotel.

BY TRAIN

  • From the UK is it possible to book via Eurostar, otherwise Thalys or TGV operate from other neighbouring counties and elsewhere in France.
    Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris Gare de l’Est.


    From Gare du Nord:
    By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to the journey to be approx. 10 minutes.
    By public transport: Take the metro (line 5) to Gare de l’Est, then change to line 7 to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre. It is then a 3-minute walk to the hotel.

    From Gare Montparnasse:
    By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to the journey to be approx. 15 minutes.
    By public transport: Take the metro (line 13) to Champs-Élysées - Clemenceau, then change to line 1 to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre. It is then a 3-minute walk to the hotel.


    From Gare de Lyon:
    By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to the journey to be approx. 15 minutes.
    By public transport: Take the mertro (line 1) to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre. It is then a 3-minute walk to the hotel.

METRO

    - Pyramides: lines 7 and 14
    - Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre: lines 1 and 7
