Just south of Syracuse and not far from Etna National Park, the Calapetra Resort is located in Fontane Bianche, set on the beach overlooking the bay and out into the Mediterranean Sea.

The main international airport in Sicily is Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, and it is located in the second largest city, Catania.
The airport receives direct flights from many European capitals and major cities, although many of the airlines only operate to the airport seasonally.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around an hour and will cost 80€ - 100€.
By car: From the airport, follow signs for Siracusa/Ragusa and merge onto SP55 then merge onto A18/E45 and continue for 62km. Take exit Cassibile then turn right onto SS115, follow signs for Avola/Fontane Bianche and continue for 5km. At the roundabout take the second exit onto SP104/Viale de Lidi and continue for 2km then follow signs for the hotel. Grid reference: 36.986747, 15.213631
